Winter Wonder Rug These footprints in the snow won't melt  Image courtesy Permafrost designstudio The record a rabbit leaves when he lopes across a tract of pure snow is as romantic as a fairytale, partly because the tracks are gone when the sun comes out the following day. Permafrost designstudio has frozen the romance in a pure-white wool rug embellished with the tracks of a lone hare. They call the wool rug "Silence," and it is part of the studio's "Stories" series. Each rug captures and preserves an ephemeral outdoor moment. The two other members of the collection ("Mud" and "Grass") feature the imprint of John Deere tractor tread. |
